forgot to mention

forgot to mention

A Poem by AKhaus

You forgot to mention that I would miss you this much when you leave.
You forgot to mention how my skin would crave your touch.
You forgot to mention how dry these lips are without your kiss.
You forgot to mention that loving you would mean so much more than I've ever felt before.
The violins echo in the dark, foggy corners of my mind and this yearning is the sweetest void.
No disclosure to such a beautiful emotion that could spring from such a bond.
Nothing quite so exquisite as this kind.
