resolve

resolve

A Poem by AKhaus

The wind takes more than my smile when it blows against my painted face.
The whispers in her storm leave an eerie song in my head.
I take off my clothes as to lessen the blow.
Even when I'm naked I am ashamed to say that my skin still pains.
I am just two lips and shaking limbs.
I haven't yet the resolve to let this river in.
I apologize if I cannot go when that door shuts.
My fear consumes my speech and I'm frozen to this thought, this whim that life will soon begin.
Don't forget to let me in.

The meaning I took from this was very dark. That might have more to do with what's inside of me than your intention but...

Damn... are you some kind of vampire inside? You did well to make me feel uneasy.
