Shift

Shift

A Poem by Sara
"

There are things known, there are things unknown, and in between are the doors.- Jim Morrison

"
Cover your eyes and close your ears
Cower in terror, run from the fears
Abolish the rules of society
For only then we can be
Close the doors that we have journeyed through
And keep the one's open so our paths renew
And travel through centuries in hours
Like time, it shifts, some things bloom like flowers
And when your days are dull and numb
And the nights are overrated and done
When the ashes have dissolved
Back to their shallow grave
Lets light up this sky that's been depraved
When our future comes closer
Our ends become cleared
Lets go into the ocean
Take strength from once feared
Now that I've fallen
I lay here to rest
My future has callin'
I did my best

Sara
Picture Jim Morrison saying this and it will blow your mind, music as you will find, and musicians are usually my inspiration
