A Poem by woodennymph
"

i came up with this while i was actually lying down on my bed, staring at the ceiling and just thinking of this guy. i figured, i did the spacing out and imagining thing too much i might as well right about it. so here it is.hehe this is for those of you

"

Sometimes, as I lay awake on my bed at night,
I see you standing over me, staring at my entirety.
As I peer back at you in the cold, dark, lonely room,
Visions flash before me, making my heart swoon.
I see moments shared between you and me.
I see how we are, we were, and we could be.
And tears begin cascading down my cheeks
As my thoughts drifted back to where they ought to be.
You weren't there, staring down at me.
You were never, and will never ever be.
For as long as this silence slowly takes my life,
I am doomed to suffer and be burdened by this strife.
