Recollections 1A Poem by Eric JamesonA poem fragment to his beloved.
This love that ne'er can change as Autumn's fall,
within it's own bright radiance of beauty clear. That song that nightingales so often call, with deep pervading harmony I hear. So often once that vision so divine; bright tinted pleasures filled with grandeur fades, Oh come, let me embrace what once was mine. Those soothing kisses sunk in Myrtle-glades, will leave in me a flame of Infant-love; to warm my heart with searing flames of Joy. Whilst with effulgence Angels sing above, your voice, so filled with melodies employ; your love, a bed of roses to enjoy.
