The Fee!

The Fee!

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

One must always pay those on their knees!

"

Twist his bones and bend his back,

Cut his meat lean and blue,

Guide that blade to nix the breast,

Lap the blood to come anew.

Bristle tips sooth heavy soles,

Master whips in lashes bold,

Spice the mead with salty sweat,

Drink long and hard never fold.

Grasp his sack and clamp in vice,

Hear his screams as cords get fat,

One more tug to pull them off,

Now dangle them and feed the rat.

Chomping veins and hair alike,

Lasting sight sends thrills to me,

Binding wax will save for later,

Now sit and hurry pay the fee.

Dark and violent indeed I would not rate this a slice of heaven. The imagery is so barbaric it makes one laugh nervously knowing what's happening in the world at large. Well done!

Indeed, thank you.
Damn, someone hurt you bad. Either that or your a sick perverted f**k, lol, I'm kidding. This very well penned. I almost felt like I was reading an excerpt from Jeffery Dahmers diary. Not sure I spelled his name right, not that I care to honor such a person in spelling it correctly. Anywhooser, You've penned a rather graphic piece with this one. The image of dangling testicles in front of a starving rat, Fantastic.

Good to know. Glad that it didn't.
Love the imagery in this one and the rhyming scheme is a favorite of mine too.
A very "raw" and graphic poem, usually the ones that mean the most to me... Good job.

Thank you.
I almost sounds like it could be a vegetarian poem about a bull being ready for slaughter. Nice rhythms and always the sardonic, dark wit.

Best wishes.

This piece I really got into. I've always wanted to write with darker tones, but I could never pull it off. But, you? Your work is a marvel. I'm green with envy! Wonderful job. I'll definitely revisit your work when Autumn hits. ^^

You're welcome~
I never saw souls tortured as punishment for the sake of food. From my point of view, such "food" feeds the perpetrators, satiating their desires of harmful behavior.

Interesting write.
