The Shoe!

The Shoe!

A Poem by Thomas Fitzgerald
"

This is the response to a challenge laid down by none other than my dear sweet friend Muse - I do hope I didn't dissapoint!

"

This blasted tyrant with corest holds,

A memory longs for times of old,

When feet were fit for the sofest ground,

Dear women thread without a sound.

Animals hide does sheath the rough soles,

Merry men wash dirt into hollow bowls,

Pesky pins never far from needle friends,

Arch's soften to house slight softened bends.

Jimmy Choo works more and more fast,

Within leather moulds the jail is cast,

High heels for some and flat for few,

Damn the dreaded bright leather shoe!

Muse, you got some abstract challenges, and your picture is the coolest glitter I think I've ever seen XD And the poem, Thomas, was entertainment and brought about some ideas. Definantly an in depth outlook upon the dreaded bright leather shoe ;) XD Really well written with a fast paced flow, I enjoyed reading, thanx for writing ^.^

And you have met the challenge presented by "Muse" with finesse and style...very clever, but I willingly admit that I do love the bright leather shoe - preferably a stiletto.........lol
Nicely written my friend - give me more of "Jimmy Choo" (side bar note - my darling doggie, "Dita Von Dog" even has a squeakie toy shoe with his name on it - a friend remarked, "Only in Fl would we find it"!)

This was very cute. I like the way it flows. We all do love our shoes no matter how they are created. I personally like comfort over pain but hey each to their own.
Very well written here.

Had to laugh bc the dreaded stilettos are a bit out of my comfort zone and yet, I suffer all for the sake of sexuality..Like how you "step up" to each challenge presented to you and achieve success each and every time...

I'm bowing at your feet I am. You created a flawless masterpiece on demand. :D
I will add this to favorites. These shoes...will go nicely in my closet. The ending...better yet...best to not pimp those bright colored shoes. ;)
