Our Love is Dead

Our Love is Dead

A Poem by Katerina Grev
"

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to fix things (water them), once things are dead, they are dead and there is no fixing them. Just move on and try to find something better.

"
Once something dies, it is dead.
That's the sad reality of things.
You cannot make roses grow again,
Not once the garden's become barren.
No matter how much you try to water it.
What's dead is dead.
Find new soil, baby,
Our garden can't grow anything.

Care-full, a truism is "showing"

I thoroughly enjoyed this poem. The comparison between love and a garden was quick, to the point, and completely valid.
