Newborn

Newborn

A Story by Kit Cat
"

I really have no idea what I'm doing!

"
As a newborn baby, I had much smarts, and no way to use them. My mother, a constant worker and a father that has no life and always sleeping, or in the bathroom. My brother, Joey Stone, was just five years old when my mother brought me home. He saw how my mother never held me and never fed me so he raised me. He fed me before he went to school, when he got home and before bed. As I got older, and started walking, he taught me school work and he helped me in life. My mother got a week off work after seven years of non-stop working. She talked to my father about a family vacation. My mother looked at me. She didn't look happy.
"Joey? who's this?" She didn't realize it was me. I could see why, I was taller then him so she thought I was older.
"It's Sara." He had a mad look on his face from her not knowing its me.
"Sara who?" She was getting smart with him.
"Sara Stone! My sister!" He yelled at her like she was a monkey.
"Don't get that tone! And Sara is not that tall she's only three."
"Mommy I'm seven." I said in a crackly tone.
She walked away and locked our door from the out side. She never unlocked it. We were lucky that there was a bathroom in our room. And Joey saved food from each dinner so we had a bit.
One night when we were sleeping we heard a loud bang and a scream. Joey told me to stay in bed and just go back to sleep. A few days later, someone came in the house and knocked our bedroom door down. We were told to go to the car. As we walked, we went threw the living room and saw a thick red liquid all over the carpet. We were told that our family was gone and we would stay with some other people.
After that, we lived happy. When I turned thirteen I read a heading on a newspaper saying a crook was after two little babies named Sara and Joey Stone. Dated the day we saw the red liquid. That night, our new parents were gone, and so was Joey.

Why is this funny? Haha. I thought this was tragic and sad. For a seven year old and then 13 year old to experience all of these things, she must have been traumatized. Well, anyway, this was pretty good. It was short but you've managed to tell her tale. Loved the plot. Great job. :)

I like the story. Create a interesting situation and a mystery at the end. No weakness in the story. A excellent story.
