Nature Needs Us.

Nature Needs Us.

A Poem by .abigail.

 Creeks flowing through emerald mountains,

Fish darting through every lake.

Trees reaching for heaven,

Nothing here’s artificial or fake.

The scent of jasmine drifts in the air,

The birds singing in glee.

A breeze shifts the leaves on the ground,

There is no evil deed.

Thunder crackles in the stormy sky,

Rain starts to pitter-pat.

Birds and beasts flee to shelter,

No one is in fear of a rat.

The natural world is as beautiful as can be,

Forever shining on.

And yet this is what we’re trying to destroy,

To make forever gone.

Yet there is still hope,

In this gloomy dark night.

Don’t take a part in these evils,

Come and join the fight.

About
Hey. My real name isn't Abigail, but I prefer it, and I don't want my friends to read any of the stuff I've written, so I'm not putting my real name. I was born in 1994, I live in Australia. M.. more..
