Storm

Storm

Water started to fall softly from the sky

angry clouds rolling in, the sun saying goodbye

Lightening in the distance

thunder starts to roar letting us know of its existence

Rain starts to fall harder and faster

showing any dry surface who is master

The wind becoming strong

Blowing, creating its very own song

Lightening becoming more frequent and vicious

clouds starting to turn and look suspicious

Thunder getting loud enough to make things rattle

weather so fierce like battle

Clouds start to shape and form

turning this into one heck of a storm

A beautiful, deadly spiral reaching for the ground

seeming so elegant and not making a single sound

Twister moving as if it was gracefully dancing across the land

destroying and moving everything around like it was just sand

Even though destructive and horrific

this part of nature is scientifically terrific

I agree. Mother Nature. A force that cannot be controlled. I liked your description of the storm. Scary and beautiful at the same time. Thank you Kimberly for sharing the amazing poetry for nature.
