Empty Pockets

Empty Pockets

A Poem by Kitty Robinson
"

This is suppose to be funny. Its about how I spend all my money on junk food then left with crap.

"

Tear me like plastic, break me like glass,

Take what you must because I'm all out of cash.

Nothing is left, not even a thought,

Memories begin to haunt me of the things that I bought.

There once was a time when I actually had bills,

When I went to McDonald's and bought simple meals.

I had bills, quarters, and sometimes even dimes,

Now when  I'm hungry I just use what I find.

I know I'm more fortunate than most people in town,

But that old saying is true; that money makes the world go round.

I love it! You are like a rhyming master! It's sort of funny, I think you got the point through. Lol.
I afree with Marble Mountain though, I think in the last line you should take out the second "that".

This amused me greatly. :)

The only thing I noticed was that the last line seemed to be rather wordy. Maybe take out the second "that"? It could just be me.

Other than that, nicely written!
