Black and White

Black and White

A Poem by klawrites

Sneezing in this heatwave
Loving in this grief
Sometimes actions and thoughts
feel so out of place

Because your heart will stop
even in the middle of the rat race
Diving into whats right
holding onto the only light you have

People will always steal parts of you
Life is about deciding
which parts and to which people
Welcoming the good and understanding the bad

So, I throw my sweater on
and head to the beach
and my rose colored view
looks pass all the ugly

Ok, now this I can get behind. The musicality is a tad wonky, but THIS - HAS - SUBSTANCE!! Well done! Much enjoyed.

I really liked it, honestly.

true! sometimes in life everything seems black and white, you lose the ability to see the colour in things.
"holding into the only light you have, keep holding. It may lead to a sky full of lights. The end tells us to keep moving.

We all let pieces of ourselves go here and there but I love that you say that she holds on to what is right. Her knowing will keep her safe. And I love the sweater... with the rose colored view.. well done..
