Close call

I've been caught up in this accident all night.
With you & only you on my mind.
There was a big wreck off of I-95 & I was too close to losing my life.
I don't know if I was more scared of dying or leaving a life with you behind.
After that big fight.
Knowing how hurt you'd be.
I feel so blessed that you chose to open your heart, mind & body to me.
And I just want to show how grateful I am for you.
It's because of you I love this life.
You've been there for me since day one.
I've put you thru hell & you never once mumbled the words i'm done.
When I had nothing, you gave me everything.
And when I got everything, you wanted nothing.
Just the same thing you wanted from the beginning.
Which was to just give you love, loyalty & attention.
That's all you sought from me.
And so i've been giving it to you with complete honesty. Honestly.
This wreck has really screwed with me.
It's loosened some screws.
I'm kind of just rambling for words to say to you.
I'm a little shook.
But they're starting to let people leave so i'll see you real soon.
I love you.
And know, that i'll be thinking of you.
