Written for my first granddaughter in utero.

AVA RAE

Ava Rae is on the way!

She's coming in the month of May!!

A soft little bundle, she'll smell so sweet;

From her delicate hands

to her chubby little feet.

Sugar and Spice and everything nice

She'll be the apple of your eye.

God loves her so much and wanted the best

that He chose your happy little nest.

So Ava laid down her gossimer wings

and came down from Heaven from where she will bring

A love to you both that you never can know

Til she lays in your arms where love starts to grow.

So rest in your Mommy little Ava so sweet

because it won't be long before we will meet.
