Grudge Unfulfilled

Grudge Unfulfilled

A Poem by Kelly
"

a little bit darker

"

Dark shadows loom around me

Like a grudge unfulfilled

Depression is surrounding

Like the happiness was killed

There is nothing but death

Repeating in my mind

Crawl back into bed

Leave it all behind

The shadow looms again

Forever unforgiving

Agonizing pain

Constant, unrelenting

Hang, hang, hang

Bleed

Drown

Sleep

Pain.

the title does fit...depression can hold a grudge, and it can grab hold of us and not let go..
