Marriage is more than a contract

When everything seems overwhelming

Ironically I wrote the words when I was twelve. But I reworked them after I go married. And I couldn't agree more. His is the one person that I will always fight for. And I have no doubt that he would fight for me.

Beautiful write up. Thank you for sharing such beauty. I've never been one to write or express a lot of sentimentality. Which is odd, because to those in my inner circle I am the one with wisdom. The one they all come to for guidance. But I agree, love is so much more than any contract. People have tried for centuries but I don't think we will ever be able to truly define it. Because real and last love now and days is so rare. We've forgotten how to cherish it, how to nurture it, like a seed in a garden it supposed to grow. Not come ready made.

Thank you. Funny thing is I originally wrote it when I was twelve or thirteen and in one of those emphatic relationships that going no where. When I re-read it a few days ago I revamped it for my husband. Much better now I think :)
