There aren't many places left in this world of ours that have yet to be discovered by those who would claim it for themselves. However, there are a few places that have remained hidden to the majority of the population. Compared to the populace of Earth, very few know their locations, but they make up a nation of their own. A nation made of many nations.

The Ninabi are a nation of people who exist in our modern world, but also within a world of their own. A world kept hidden from ours. A world where "magic" is free to all born into it. Of course it is not really magic. It is actually what some would call the next step in human evolution. Every day, more people are born into their world. However, the gene pool for this "evolution" is very selective. Not many are born into the Ninabi.

When someone who has the "power" is born, the Sage for that division knows immediatley. No one knows how they know, they just do. There are five Sages. One for each element: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Lightning. Each division keeps to themselves in their own region of the world. The Earth Mountain is located in one of the largest deserts on the face of the planet, the Water Mountain is located somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, the Fire is located near one of the biggest volcanoes, no one is quite sure where Wind and Lightning are, but it doesnt really matter. The Temple is located on the peak of Mount Everest. This is where, in times of trouble, all five sages meet for counsel.

Each person born into each division, has the ability to control that element. The Ninabi take these people we would consider freaks, and teach them how to control their abilities.
