The two houses

The two houses

This house of stone

protects me to the bone

never will i be someone's meal

nor ever see a wicked ordeal

Yet this house of stone

will never be a humble abode

and one will die alone.

If one lives in a house of hay

the wolf will make you pay

Openness lets everyone in

even the one with the wicked grin

So the twins

named life and death

will always win

You can live life fully

and meet death prematurely

or let no one in

till death comes knock-in.

"So the twins

Wow, such powerful lines!I can see how the house may be inhabited, yet is still metaphorically empty. Your pictures paint a picture in my head. Well done!
