Battle rounds

Battle rounds

A Poem by lakki

I hear my phone rings
And that's when round one begins
My mind is alarmed
But my body asks for more time
The battle carries on, but not for long
I run off this fight
With my mind dressed in guilt
And my body still asking for more rest
I put on my dress
And take that of Me off
I kiss my mum'cheeks
And I walk on foot to college
Guarded with people's eyes
this is where round two arises
My mind is in trance
And my body wants attentions
When coming back home
I regret not being me again
Then call of duty attends my ears
Dishes, dinner, and once again dishes

My life is simply battle rounds

Life is not always simple! Try to wake up a bit earlier and figure out more! Maybe some of us (especially adults) think the whole live is just a cycle, but think back to your childhood, you must be curious about the world. Try to experience that again!
