while im still in this mindset

lets put some sun in the air
paint colorful butterflies in the sky
we would climb up the clouds
and when we're high, we'll collapse
sink back into the clouds and cuddle

while im still in this mindset

lets go crawl down the street
people would look at us in disbelief
in belief, we would still nest in the clouds
whisper words of love and mischief
all ragged in the mist of dusty cluster

while im still in this mindset

lets scream at the top of our lungs
and scare the s**t of those children
they'll run in terror and cry in panic
even the butterflies will scatter and go manic
and in this glee, ill steal kisses, you will see.

and while im still in this mindset

hold me tight, lead me to places
make this special, an itch to treasure
who knows, when this longing dies inside
then, you'll have to shake the life in me
to ride the clouds again, in a frenzied spree

in this mindset, wild and free.
