Dear FriendA Poem by kuruMy dear friend, can we have a moment?
You were there in the trees dancing in the cool summer breeze. You were there in the clouds molding to my will with ease. You were there in the rain drops, that trickle down the roof tops. You were there in the bird tweets, the naps under my sheets. In the moonlight shining so bright.
..... your existence evaded my sight.
When I met you, My dear friend, You called yourself content. So calm, and cool, You told me you were always there, watching me walk past you, lost in my search for happiness. © 2010 kuru |
