Fractured huesA Poem by kuruAs
the branches broke
off-- we
were untied and
left to run. we
skipped over rain
drops and scuttled over
puddle spots. When
we saw the ripples stop, ---
we kissed our imagination and found
dreams within this
stagnation-- we witnessed fractured
hues against majestic
skies-- blue
and orange over
ocean tides-- As
the greens die --yellow
and red poured
over aquatic veils-- we looked back and saw the world
spin --- © 2011 kuru |
