You'll Never Have More Time Than Now

You'll Never Have More Time Than Now

Sonnet

"

There’s a mother below the silver star
feeding her child with aeroplane lies.
Sometimes she’ll point just beyond far-
look child, at one time, everybody cries
but you must be strong, I’m feeding you sunshine.
As long as I am your mother and you’re my son
you don’t have to stand at love’s borderline
you’ll be the centre of it, carrying more than a ton.
And if by chance, I’m not by your side
remember we used to be one single breath.
like the time you went on the big boy slide,
this life too, is a changing slope till death.

And remember, as you keep going you’ll learn when to slow down.
So eat my child- you’ll never have more time than now.

About
I'm nobody! Who are you? Are you nobody, too? Then there's a pair of us — don't tell! They'd banish us, you know. How dreary to be somebody! How public, like a frog To tell your name th.. more..
