Infinite Road

Infinite Road

A Poem by Jack Cassidy
"

Where the spirit lies.

"
I put my ear to the ground from which I was born.
From seeds is how I grew.
A chosen one was conjured up from her falling stars.
I've since added to the masterpiece,
it still rings of her presence,
her perfect design.
The Way was ordained through her spirit.
Each celestial mental trip is more blissful than the next.
I’m love-drunk with your sacramental wine.
I’ve dug out a burial site only to dance upon the grave.
This world of yours has built a shelter for me to rest all through the night.
Its fat and healthy branches provide the shade my face needs to gain relief.
I thank you with a smile,
Simply no words to fully express,
as I wander in your fields.
To lie upon jutting roots and nestle into the soft clay.
You Great Giver, are my eternal haven, my infinite road.

Jack?,

Very thought provoking thoughts that are powerfully contemplative and serenely meditative in their spiritual nature of Mankind's Humanity of common existence, until we do cease our existing at all ... Enjoyable read ...
