Across the ocean I see my thoughts fly
Vast forests and deep valleys
My soul seeks answers
Heaven knows my heart is aching

Across the rivers I feel my tears fall
Long melodies and soft cries
My mind seeks respite
Heaven knows my sorrow is strong

Across the ponds I know my being grows
Echoes of time and muttering voices
My body seeks wholeness
Heaven knows my pain is much
