Knives

A stranger stabs you in the front, a friend stabs you in the back, a boyfriend stabs you in the heart, but best friends don't carry knives.

Why'd you have to go

And out me down?

I'm down so far 

I can't see the light anymore.

You decieved me.

Stabbed me in the heart.

She played Judas,

and stabbed me in the back.

I'm alone now

And when I just can't take it anymore,

I think I see a light.

I try and fight towards it,

even if it's just an illusion, 

because I have been alone for so long.

Just laying here.

Not strong enough to get back up.

But not weak enough to not care.

See, you crushed me.

But you missed something.

Someone.

Someone who'll always care.

You stabbed me in the front.

She stabbed me in the back.

But my best friend?

She doesn't carry a knife.

But she'd take a bullet for me.

It has a slight mixture to it and it makes it interesting. I think it doesn't explain a lot so it makes the reader ask a few questions. Like how did this person crush her? Who crushed her (because in the beginning it sounded like one person but at the end it was two)? Maybe add a little bit more to this sad and true poetic story. :)
