Draw the lines

Draw the lines

A Poem by Linda alexander

I drew the line in our relationship
There was a line for all in my life
I kept going by drawing lines
Lines remained relations left me

I became alone like an island
I had lines surrounding me
The lines drawn by me fenced me
I stopped drawing lines but was too late

I became a prisoner of my own jail
Yes I dug my own graveyard
I buried my dreams along with others
I did this as I was drawing lines for all
