The writer's ghost

The writer's ghost

A Poem by Linda alexander

The ghosts never left this world
They haunted every tender heart
Haunting gave birth to writing
Ghosts left but writing continued

I like this Linda. Very unique and different. It is spooky but true.

This is a very interesting concept. I've never really thought about it as such, but this is exactly how I see it.
Writers haunt the earth forever, in one form or another.
Typically, they write because they are haunted somehow, then they spend eternity haunting the earth somehow.
Marvelous think, my friend.

p.s.
i think there was a typo in line two... was hearts supposed to be heart?
if not, ignore this.

and are we the instruments for those ghosts...are these thoughts theirs not ours...the ones we write?
perhaps...
