Acceptance

Acceptance

A Poem by Larq
"

Part of my moon collection---experiencing aging and acceptance through nature

"

Crooked branches

Inscribe her face

As brittle leaves

Chatter in crackling voices

Of years gone by

Her countenance is unchanging

Though ravens

Flutter past her lips

Casting shadow

On her light

A star whispered mantra

Consumes the cold sky

And falls

In sparkling crystals

At her feet

Her brilliance

Reflects on soft hills

Of fresh fallen snow

And in the bitterness of winter

She is resilient

i find there is a certain beauty in aging...and really like it when people age naturally...with acceptance and gratefulness for still being alive.
love this poem, Larq...
as one who is really aging now....i can relate.
