Carousel

Carousel

A Poem by Laura E. Aranda
"

if any of you know me, you will recongnize this as an old piece of mine that was lost in the 'storm'

"

Hear the Musical chimes' enchantment so sweet

See the frozen yet spirited horses gallop and flow

Take a ride, waste time, oh what a treat

Sounds of Melodious laughter tug me below

Bright lights run and how I want to take a seat

Responsibilities saddle me, schedules trigger my memory as I turn to go

It is for kids anyhow, I say, but my retreating steps don't match my heartbeat

I like the joy of this and it reminds me of a carousel in France...the second line is my favourite.

I remember this one...I think it was one of the first pieces of yours that I reviewed. I don't remember if the color fonts were there or not....but I like it used here - it adds to the feel of the carousel theme...I enjoyed it on the first post - and that hasnt changed. nicely done.
