This is about my soul mate, my husband. I wrote this a couple of years ago right after we got married

What is your name?
I ask
You know my name
He states

Why do you love me?

I ask
Because you are the puzzle that fits my piece
He reminds
Why are you here?

I want to know

Because without you there is no new day

He repeats
Why do you hold me the way you do?
I inquire
Who else could hold you like me?

He wonders
What do you see when you look at me?
I want to know
My tomorrow and yours
He says

What is your name?
I ask

Your future
Your destiny
Your husband

Your Soul Mate
Your life
Your best friend
Your Godsend

But you know all that
He smiles
