A

scending like an annual sickness

U

ndermining Summer's fiercest heated growl

T

ree leaves faint, crumble and fall dead in its wake

U

mbilicus as the shaft of a feather, all becomes hollow

M

agnificent encores of colossal heaps of dying hues

N

estle onto the ever growing cold Earth floor

I like the whole feel of this and think the last two lines are the best.

This made my eyes tear up, touching upon one of the things I miss most about Maryland. Fall up North is magnificent, compared to... well, is there even a Fall in Florida? Thank you for writing this, it reminded me of where my home actually is.

I like this, a lot.
I'm normally not one for acrostics, but this is actually really appealing. The first line is my favorite. :}

This is a wonderfully creative acrostic. As a gardener, Autumn signifies the end of my lovely flowers, but Autumn has a beauty all its own and you have captured it well with your words.
