Out of This World

Out of This World

A Poem by Cherry Chapstick
"

I was sad. I was sick of relying on myself to get out of hard situations and miserable life. So I wanted to get back to God.

"

Is there a fire escape?

Where’s the exit sign?

It’s getting harder to take

To remember my lines

I want to hold your hand

You to walk me through

This hard-pressing life.

I want out

Out of this world

I want in

In to your glorious kingdom

Oh your glorious kingdom

I want out of this world

I want to come out of this darkness

I want to experience your love

I want to experience your love

I want You.

aww! I really liked this! It's true we can't rely on ourselves to get out of difficult situations. We can only do it with god's help or we would make a mess of things trying to do it on our own. Wonderful poem! :)
