Celestial

Celestial

A Poem by Larry Dyson
"

colab with ms.Poppy Silver...Celestial portals evolve into windows ..into doors to the other worlds.

"

Another door...
to...there...away
from here
are we allowed respite
before another trial begins?

Door to nowhere, somewhere.

opens on oh so... creak, creaky hinges

seldom used and showing signs of great age

ages past in another time and place...

enter in ...black as inky nite….

Cold hands wrap around

shrink about...

persona

being weighed

by the feather

suspended in akashic wisdom

grief determines...underlines...boldy...

who we have been.

Souls contract honored

spirits reincarnated ...

by completion...or perhaps not

..just yet...

infinite is only long to those

living within the bounds and bonds

beyond the door ...

to there.

These doors are so complicated. They fashion our dreams...our hearts...our bodies. If we try to force a door open, it seems to swing the wrong way. It also seems that fate is more forgiving if we just let it all go....no keys or door knobs are required....just on open mind.

'Who we have been'. And perhaps, who we've become? There are ways within and out that take us to different places, sometimes to meet at a common point, more often way out of eyesight and hearing because we're physically in a comfortable place. For a few, flight is the be-all.. as it should be .. for others it's a compromise. Your two minds have made their own flight, and, breathtakingly. Thank you, thank you.

I like the exploration of the infinite here. We look outward to the skies and ponder infinity when it can actually be more easily found looing further in toward the infinite within the condensation of the soul and our purposes. I like the poem because it comes from within the "Celestial" minds and hearts of two collaborative poets...
Wonderful write.
