Beardies are so much fun!

I normally do not care for poetry that is disjointed words on the page. In your hands though, the backwards and sideways telling of the story's image is pitch perfect and masterful. I get a sense of what it is like to actually be a bearded dragon, and that, my friend, is not easy to write. Kudos to you- this is quite lovely and well done.

I love the way this poem is crafted. I get the sense of snatches of cognizance as each dragon notices and then pounces on its prey. Very simple and a fun read.

We adopted two beardies a few years back "Dino and Sprocket" - they both passed away due to old age but they were fascinating critters to watch. This poem reminded me so much of them.
Great write
