Waiting for summer

Waiting for summer

A Poem by lavendargirl1
"

This is something a wrote while traveling about coming home in the summer.

"

Waiting for Summer,

For the warm bonfire nights,

With hundreds of glimmering fireflies.

Waiting for Summer,

For Paris in June,

Looking up from Marsielle at the glittering moon.

Waiting for Summer,

Hawaiian nights on the beach,

The sad, stressful world seeming so far out of reach.

Waiting for Summer,

For coming back to skies of blue,

In July, running in fields with you.

Hi, like the ideas here - you do know in all the verses you have the last two lines in rhyme but the first verse/stanza isn't? Just a thought but was enchanted by the simplicity of this :)
