Silence

Silence

A Poem by Leah Mayes

neurosis in alliance

my willing compliance

an electric reliance

inseminating a stream full of insolence...

encore reaction

just a distraction

the foul rape of refraction

in a world committing regressive violence...

hysteria proliferating

demi-gods anticipating

hybrid thoughts now relegating

invoking the surreal sounds of iridescence...

my nemesis unruly

sent love from yours truly

abandoned in this odyssey

fair introspection formally engaged to noble silence...
