Lately I've been trying to live outside my head 

You might have noticed my eyes no longer run away when they meet yours 

You might have heard my heart begin to beat faster whenever I'm around you 

And you might have noticed my smile gets wider whenever I think of you 

Lately you've been on my mind 

And many times I catch myself wondering if I'm ever on yours 

But maybe you've never thought of me mote than anything but a little girl 

Who has a foolish little crush on her best friend
