Dear Ex-Lover,

 

I smell you in the air today

Your deep autumn fragrance

quickly (and surely) ensnares

Dancing deep in bittersweet nostalgia

I'm twirling

in your lush honied arms

(I'm captured)

This gem of a poem sounds like a very
current lover to me. Perhaps I am just not
appreciating the deep and abiding nostalgia
which grips the writer.
This is such a sweet and intimate poem, so expressive
in so few words, the ex may be swayed to try again.
This poem was pretty, sweet and convincing and in

There are times, eh? It's hard to forget those details about somebody you were so close to. I remember the freckles on my ex lover's arm. Each damn one.
