Not ONE day goes by that I don't think about you.

Its been 2008 since we saw you walk out that door

Never to return again.

Never to hear your voice again

Your stomping down the hallway

Coming out of your bedroom 

looking so fly 

and ready to hit the world

with a full storm ahead.

Your white suit fitting you perfectly,

with the white hat tilted just right

The shoes always clean

and your ready smile

willing to be there for everyone

else

Ready with a hug

when I was grouchy and demanding

some clean up time from the crew.

The hug you wouldn't let me go until

I was smiling from ear to ear.

Its like you were just here

and now you've been gone seven years

where has all the time gone?

The best thing is that I know that you

are in the best place for you

and I know that you have a special

place in heaven

Because people like you are rare

happy and wonderful people

You were my first,

my one who made me smile

no matter what the situation was

and that when you were in jail

and I was mad

you knew it and didn't push it.

But jail will never get you again

neither will a policeman chase you

because you want a joy ride!

Now you fly as fast as you want

and enjoy life every second of the day.
