A Beginning

no more poison friends

goodbye to negativity

no more dependence

goodbye to toxicity

it's time for me to clean my slate

to feel as fresh as lime

renew myself with the new year

never hit rewind

no more broken hopes

this year i will achieve my dreams

no more sorry sobs

i don't need anyone's pity

it's time for me to become my own

to smile when i'm blue

at midnight blow myself a kiss

and learn to love me too

no more melancholy thoughts

no acid on my brain

no more waiting for someone

i will control my fait

it's time for me to brace myself

and start the new year well

call it my new beginning

now ring the new year bells

Very strong piece of your work. The poetry's itself a portray of spiritual spirit found in you. Sometimes, some stuffs ain't just inspire others, but make 'em feel looking ov'r the world holding anew perception to eyes.. 'bout world. So, I must say, this stuff motivates readers too to heal up their wounds & re-start the journey of their lives in a very new-way... to make things done which couldn't be done in 2014, but should .. even must be done in 2015.
