Lots Of Eyes

Lots Of Eyes

A Poem by Lexi Richard

i've seen lots of eyes
some like melted chocolate
others like tar after rain
some like gumdrops
some that swirl like waves
a few with speckles
many like the bay
a couple like moss
some dull and gray
some eyes are dewy
some reflect the stars
some shine like the heavens
others only reflect the dark
some eyes watch
others can show
some warm your heart
others fill you with cold
i've seen lots of eyes
they enchant me so
i've seen so many eyes
but I've never seen their worlds

Wise poem. It makes me remember seeing into the hearts of others, and now I miss them. Thank you.
