It doesn't feel good to say this

but I have to because it's true,

because I have lost to you

Simply brilliant! You managed to capture the heartache one feels when they lose that connection with that special someone. Your ending is so powerful, for you do not liken love in war to the loser waving a white flag in surrender but instead you point out that love is so great it will almost let the other person win. I suppose that is why in war there are no winners, for the one who wins is the one who was most determined to destroy the other. With love, the one who is left heartbroken is generally the one who was most committed to it working. I look forward to reading more, keep writing, encore for a sequel.
