and I don't remember why

sometimes stars don't shine the same

and my words don't feel like mine,

sometimes it hurts my heart to pound

and hurts my hand to write

sometimes sleep tires me more

and my eyes are lost and dull

sometimes I feel hurricanes

yet feel nothing at all

sometimes the ceiling looks so good

and the birds make me feel stuck

sometimes I want to change myself

but I know I have no luck

sometimes I forget what it is to love

and only find peace within lies

sometimes life isn't what I knew

and I don't remember why
