This is difficult to review intent, which I don't really do, anyway. You are very political in this. It is well written. All I know of Cromwell, was he was so hated, that I believe they found his body after a battle and hung him. That's hate. Were these your words, or words from a songwriter ? I found this interesting, because of your interest in the politics of Scotland. Plus I have to confess I love Scotland because of it's history with golf. I know...I'm shallow. hee hee. Great piece.
