For Yi Incha

For Yi Incha

A Poem by Libby McKeown

Anger shaded blue

then breathes white in its purity--

cold precision

swirls down the rabbit hole

and tickles my eyes

like shame.

I leap years

across the desert

and my heart explodes

at the memory of warmth.

Poor Wisdom

has seen it all before

and sits, sullen,

waiting her turn.

lib,

absolutely gorgeous. this is excellently formed. the ability for me to view the colors, and associate colors to the objects in the work is what i find most impressive. how did you make me do that!? maybe i'm just a bit eccentric ;0P

well, the only real suggestion i have, if i may, is for s2, l3. i know you have the punctuation to aid in your endeavor to lengthen the pause between sits and sullen; however, it might be more effective to just drop sullen to its own line. (just a thought)

beautiful work, once again, really!

sincerely,
jr

A poem with many stories hidden in the words.
"I leap years
across the desert
and my heart explodes
at the memory of warmth."
I like the ending to the excellent poem. Sometime wisdom is overlooked in a life.

Great imagery and phrasing. It has an interesting touch of adventure and trials. Your concept is pretty deep but still so meaningful.

Keep Writing. ^___^

Very dreamy.
I'll admit that I have no idea what it may be about, but I loved it.
