I'll Be Seeing You

Everywhere i look i see that face
So painfully familiar

Everywhere i look memories sing to me
With an urgancy that leaves me breathless
With grief each and every time

That sweet, loving familiar face haunts me
Every waking moment, tormenting me
Like a fever that knows no bounds

Everywhere i look i see your loving touch,
Hear your voice riging in my ears,
Like the melody of wind chimes
Swaying with the rythm on the wind

The longing i locked away rises to the surface With a vengence
Breaking my will that binds it

As i fell to my knees
I grasped the cold, unyeilding stone
That was a painful reminder of a loved one
forever lost

I wept silently for all the things i never said
For every moment i never spent with you,
For every second i wasted being mad at you
For every tear that fell

The pain, grief, and anger melted away
Love and longing filled my ragged, weary heart

The red rose i craddled close to my heart
Held a peice of my soul that slipped away
With the rose i placed gently on your bed of grass

Everywhere i look, everywhere i go
In my heart i know i will never let you go

For the love i have for you
Will always be an everlasting light
That guides me,
Buring brightly in my soul
