Dream

I was thinking about how everybody needs someone to love them no matter what and this is what came out.

I had a dream

I was flying

And I was with you

And then the wind came

And tore us apart

And then

I soared over

And you were there

And we held hands

And let nothing

Tear us apart…

I woke up

To the drudgery

Called life

I woke up

And you weren’t there

I woke up
And the song

Of joy

Was gone.
