The night before

The night before

A Story by Linear
"

A very short story, a who done it maybe, or not as the case maybe

"
Sitting on the edge of my bed
head bowed, trying hard to remember
the night before.

Had we fought?
eyes sore, I looked down at the floor
strewn with empty beer cans and cigerettes.

Carpet stained, with red puddles
a knife I hold in my hand
dropping it, it clatters on the floor
splatters bloodstains up the wall.

A tear runs down my cheek
footsteps approach my door
loud

Knock Knock

Arrested now, bound in chains
if only I could remember
the night before.

Sometime we can lose control. It is not a good thing. Can do terrible thing when in a un-controlled rage. I like this poem. The description was very good and the ending very logical. A excellent poem.

o.O whaaaaat?! I love it! It has a mysterious touch to it along with an actual mystery. I love how you exaggerated the Knock Knock. If it wasn't as big, it wouldn't have hit me as hard as it did. All in all, very nice poem with beautiful imagery and even a nice way of showing characteristics of the man
